What to do if i am scared a case might be filed against me

02-Jun-2023 (In Civil Law)
In the year 2007 I was appointed to a primary school as a para teacher being 1st in the panel.Actually The rule was The para teacher must be from the same village where the said school is situated.I was not from that village .Therefore actually I was not eligible for the post. But local Prodhan issue a residential certificate on my behalf. In said certificate the Prodhan declared that I am the resident of the same village where the school is situated. This declaration was wrong but The Prodhan did this.By virtue of the certificate I was appointed to the school. But the Applicant who was in second position filed a writ petition in Kolkata high court challenging my appointment.I have recently resigned from the said post of para teacher as obtained better job.But that case of para teacher is still going on. I know that The petitioner will win the case surely. Now my question is 'Will any other criminal punishment be ordered against me? Or May any further criminal case be lodged against me

You had resorted to falsehood before joining the school. The School had also failed/neglected to verify your the particulars of your candidature. The School /District authority may lodge a complaint against you with the police authority for the stated fact as above to save their interest. The prayer in writ petition is vital and without perusing the same,I can not suggest any legal course of action on your part.If my professional assistance is required contact me through lawRato.
