What options do I have after case is settled at Lok Adalat

20-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hi Sir, I had a small dispute with the landlord of the flat and filed a case for trying to forcibly vacate me. After an year, my lawyer insisted for a compromise as I thought of vacating the flat. I thought 2 months is good time to find another place nearby and agreed for a compromise. The deadline is nearby and I haven't found a place yet. What options do I have now? Please advice and help me.

Dear,

You have no other option left but to vacate the property as the case is compromised at your will. However, you can request the landlord to grant you some more time for vacating the property and see if he gives you time.

Regarding vacate the premises with in two months
If such do so u have to vacate or else request
Or else

You have to file petition before court seeking extension of time, the court will pass an order by extending it as per its discretion in the facts and circumstances. The compromise terms have to be seen, what you have signed at the time of entering into compromise.
