If the Village Officer remains uncooperative despite you providing reasonable proof, or if they are demanding documents that are practically impossible to fetch now, you can submit a formal application/grievance directly to the Tahsildar (Revenue) or the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO). Since the Sub-Registrar has already accepted the certified copy and successfully registered your Settlement Deed, the validity of your transaction is legally established.
