Vehicle damaged by neighbour while parked in gully sidewalk ( india ).

hello, sir i live in pune in a mid-narrow gully of about 18ft, i usually park my active below my rented home on the sidewalk (usually how everyone parks). today there was no space to park my vehicle below my apartment, so I parked a little bit on the side of my neighbour house, later i had a call saying my vehicle was lying in the middle of the road, I went and check and realized my neighbor dragged active and threw it in the middle of the road. what should i do?not for parking but for wt he did
