use of residential apartment for commercial purpose - disturbance

Resd plot -1800sqft. One owner owns GF, FF and SF stays on FF but using GF for his commercial purpose and rented SF to Tenant for commercial purpose . We are Sr Citizen couple, own and live on 3rd flr. Consequently Lift is extensively used by his tenant and clients resulting in frequent breakdown of lift. In that case for us it is challenging to use stairs. Also its very disturbing due to client traffic. SF is used as training academy by famous beauty brand KRYLON. How to resolve

Respected sir It is against the building by laws to use residential property for commercial use. If you wish, we may send them a Legal Notice to stop these activities at once or we will drag them to the court and get a stay on its commercial activities besides other reliefs. You may consult me in that regard.

see if the property is being registered as Residential and MCD tax paid for it (residential). then there is a way to file a complaint and a case against the owner. and you can get relief from the court. for further information please contact.

It's advisable for you to first of all rather than going legally you should serve them a legal notice and in that notice you can write either stop all these harassment or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if they fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction.
