third person has recently come forward claiming that the house belongs

I have been living in a house in Mumbai at the address: Barkya Rama Compound Chawl, Damu Nagar Last Bus Stop, Kandivali East, Mumbai 101, for the last 20 years. The electricity bill, ration card, Aadhaar card, and PAN card are all in my mother's name, and we also pay the rent for the property annually. However, a third person has recently come forward claiming that the house belongs to them based on documents from 1971, and they are threatening to evict us by any means necessary.

Make sure that you have original registered papers of the property with you. The third person will have to file a proper eviction suit in the Small Causes Court if he wants to evict you. If the third person tries to put pressure on you, then file complaint against him in your nearest police station. Please note that only after obtaining a court order, the third person can evict you.
