Subject: Dispute Regarding Shared Wall & Property Damage

20-Jul-2025 (In Civil Law)
Dear Advocate, I built a 9-inch wall on the boundary; 4.5 inches lie on each side. I paid the full cost. Without consent, my neighbor used it for roof slab support and installed a water motor causing vibrations. They also dumped wet soil, leading to seepage and damage to my home. I seek legal advice on filing a complaint, compensation, or sending a notice. I have photo evidence. Please guide me on next steps.

This is a very serious issue. Your neighbour has no right to do so. Your neighbour has violated your easementary rights. According to law, no person can construct or do any wrong to an person by violating his civil rights which also includes easementary rights. We can send a legal notice to the concerned person asking him to remove the construction within 15 days. Thereafter if the neighbour doesn't remove the construction or properly compensate you, we can file. civil suit in the court seeking your easementary rights.
