Show cause notice before traveling abroad

I got my tatkal passport in Nov 2023 while I was residing in a rental apartment. The police sent an adverse report as I was not present at the address. Now I have shifted to a new rental apartment and the police officer said i will have to restart the process. The RPO has issued a show cause notice which was dispatched on 14 June but havent been delivered yet. I have to go to USA in August. Will I be stopped from travelling? Will my passport be impounded soon? what should I do?

Hi, You will have to file a reply immediately with reasons and documents to show the RPO that the default is not due to any other reasons but merely an absence at the time of verification. Show case all necessary documents and prepare a clean and clear representation.
