Selling a property in a village area is hindered due to the villagers

I bought a villa 9 years ago in a village area in kottayam.It consists of 18 villas in a villa compound.The issue is when ever someone is trying to sell the property the villagers are hindering its sales by frightening the buyers by telling some stories.Is there any law avail for this matter
Obstructing property sales through threats or false claims is illegal. You can file a police complaint for harassment under BNS Sections 351(1) (criminal intimidation) & 351(2) (punishment for intimidation). A civil suit for damages and an injunction order can also stop interference.
