Q: Husband left me and our three kids

It has been 4 years since my husband left me and my three children. I had filed a case in the family court to get maintenance. As a result, the court awarded Rs. 9500 per month. But I have not received any maintenance other than Rs. 6000 per month. I don't own a house or property. What legal aid can I get?

To enforce the full maintenance amount of ₹9,500, you should file an Execution Petition beofore the same Family Court that passed the order. Since you are not receiving the full amount, the court has the power to issue a warrant for the recovery of arrears, attach your husband's salary or property, and even order civil imprisonment if he willfully defaults.

Q: My bike were stolen from my home at were found my police within 2 days

Once the bike were found by police they had filed FIR and said me I need to appoint a lawyer and to recover the bike back through court only, hence I had appointed a lawyer and he had filed a petition also for bond 2 peoples details like I'd proof and land tax receipt were sent to the lawyer a week back, still not updates from him, I need to get my bike back as soon as possible. Pls help me in this regard since my lawyer had stopped showing any interest in my case.

Since the police have already registered an FIR, recovery of the bike requires a court order through a bond petition. If your current lawyer is not updating you, you can personally check the case status in the concerned Magistrate Court or through the e-courts portal using the case number. You also have the right to change your lawyer at any stage if he is negligent. Appointing an active lawyer and following up regularly will speed up getting your bike released.

Q: Neighbour complaint against me

2 months ago one of our neighbours on the basis of property issues entered our house and shop and made problem.that person was a child less person so I harrassed him on not having baby and they filled case on that against me and it's pending...do it affect my upsc selection...
