You can seek information under RTI Act- 2005 from any Public Authority (government organization or government aided organization). Application can be handwritten or typed. Application should be submit in English, Hindi or in the official language of the area in which the application is made. In this regard it is mentioned that if you do not receive any reply against your RTI application from the concerned department within the time limit given under the RTI Act, 2005 or you are not satisfied with the reply, you can file the first appeal in the same public authority in which you have filed your RTI application.
