Regarding petition for removal of unfair law application

i want to know how can i get justice in the case my university is having a rule which is only apllicable to our batch it was not there for other batch. the rule is passing in mandatory subjects for getting degree and it was not there for previous batch they can drop subjects and get a degree .
See if a rule is made which you believe is in contravention of any provision of law then you can file a writ petition before the Hon'ble HighCourt. In addition to that if the rule violates any fundamental right, for instance one can in the present case say right to equality, then you can directly approach the Supreme Court also.
However, a differentiation can be made if it is reasonable and achieve an objective which is in direct relation with the objective aimed to be achieved.
