Regarding Notary marriage if witness sign with wrong name

Sir i am little bit confused on matter .That day i witnessed a declaration of marriage between muslim boy and Christian girl Declared by Notary .Sir I signed with my nickname as witness .Is there chance for creation of any problem in future for being a witness

hello thank you for your query. With regards to the question posed by you, it is disheartening to know that notary marriage was done by a Government notary when such a marriage is not considered valid anywhere in the country. as long as the party does not register their marriage before the Registrar the said marriage is invalid. secondly, the signing of the nick name will invalidate you as a witness.
