Hello i have applied for passport in which i gave 3 name actually i had 1 name now i added my father name with it. I have updated it in adhar card, added in newspaper and made an affidavit saying that ( i have change my name from xxx to xx xx xx ). in my educational certificates i have only my single name will it be okay if i made an affidavit saying. Xx and xx xx xx are the same person.nThankyou

Is my passport valid if I had a show cause notice?
If the police has not provided a clear report, the RPO may summon you. In this case, you will be required to appear in front of passport officials and explain the reason for the negative report. This is not a problem. Your new passport can be used. 29 Jan 2017
