Regarding my freedom to roam around Bangalore at midnight.

30-Jan-2023 (In Civil Law)
Is it an offence to roam around Bangalore after 12 pm? Because I was badly treated by 2 police men. So I don't want this happen again. So do tell me was I wrong to do so. If yes, do tell me the law which abides it. If not, do tell me what law protects me from police taking me to station or making me to pay fine and sometimes bribes too. So do help me with this.

Hi... roaming around Bangalore after 12 pm is not an offence but it is the duty of the police to enquire any person if they have doubts on any one in the mid night. But by giving valid reason you can come out from the situation.
Thank you
