Regarding Exclusion of Caste in the process of Religious Conversion

24-Jun-2024 (In Civil Law)
I am a Hindu who belongs to the Scheduled Caste category in India. I want to convert to Buddhism. My interest in Buddhism is deeply rooted in its faiths, beliefs, and principles. My desire to convert is purely based on spiritual and philosophical reasons, and not due to any caste-related issues as popularly observed. However, I also want to ensure that after my conversion, I am not associated with the Scheduled Caste or any caste at all unlike Hinduism. What to do? Is there any way for that?

1. Are you getting anything free from govt. or others because of your caste? If you are enjoying free food or housing or getting money because of your caste then you simply write to them and stop he free things. 2. After you convert, dont apply in reserved category for anything. 3. Nobody needs to know about your conversion or your previous caste unless it is specifically asked for in any application form. 4. Please do answer truthfully in any govt. census which asks about religion and caste.
