Recently supreme court given judgement "No stay on trial for more than six months except in exceptional situations" Karnataka High Court Clarifies That Supreme Court's Direction On Expiry Of Stay Orders Is Valid Only For Trial Proceedings, Not Execution Proceedings. 1.Now stay validity is there or not? 2.what is Trial Proceedings? 3.Execution Proceedings? 4.Now it is applicable to HighCourt stay on lower court order/judgement?

stay is valid but the stay continue till 6 month from the date the stay is been granted from the court
trial proceedings means that the cases going on in a trial court that is District Court it is called trial proceedings
once the judgement of final decree is been passed by the trial court or the district court the party has to file a separate execution proceedings for executing that judgment or decree
stay from high court is a separate matter the judgement by Supreme Court has given it is particularly only for the state which is been granted by the trial court
