Received A Summon And Need Clarity If Its True Or Fake

Hi, one of my close friend has received a summon. I tried checking in the ecourt for the same case, i dont see any data. How can i male sure the summon is right or wrong ?

Write a notice to the court officer with the details and see the reply they give and make sure the summons has all the proper address and important Because the summons should have details regarding the offence and that will have detailed information and will contain a court signature and the date and time of the hearing.

Check for the official seal of the court and the signature of the issuing authority on the summon you have received. while ecourt might not show data , other official court records or case management bodies might have information. Be cautious of potential scams. Legitimate summons will have proper documentation and can be verified through official channels.

You should directly approach the court to obtain a certified copy of relevant documents from the court case record. Go to copying department, apply with the relevant application, fill up necessary details and submit. Data in CIS is not accurate/misleading and may lead to more troubles and waste of time.
