Query on Promissory Note Recovery- Borrower Died - Kind Advise Please

05-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
I gave 6 lakhs money to someone in January 2018 for one rupee interest and written a promissory note by the borrower’s own writing. He died accidentally in May 2018 but his father is denying to honor my money back at least principal amount though I have been begging them for a long time. They have several assets but not on the borrower's name. Would you mind to give small advice? I am from a village in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh.

You can sue the legal heirs of the deceased for the defaults of the deceased person. It is beeter to initiate a case against his mother because mother is a class 1 heir of the deceased. Please contact me for further details regarding the filing of the case.
