Procedure to get SC certificate
16-Jun-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am Unashish and am living in Bhilwara, rajasthan. My father migrated from west Bengal 30 years ago and settled here. I born and bought up in Rajasthan only. My parents caste according to west Bengal reservation policy is schedule caste (namasudra). Is it possible to have a caste certificate for my self, because our caste is not mentioned in Rajasthan caste system. If it is possible what is the procedure to get the certificate.
File an RTI application in respective department of West Bengal asking that your caste still comes under SC category over there and ask for respective latest gazzette which include your caste in SC category in wb state. After receiving those documents apply for caste certificate along with those papers and your parents caste certificate to the executive magistrate. If h fails to issue certificate then file a writ petition for seeking the same relief.
