Procedure to get OBC caste certificate in Maharashtra?

sir/mam'am, I was born in maharashtra and live here only. My uncle who lives in karnataka has a obc caste certificate and also my cousin brother and sister has. Can I also get this certificate. What is the procedure?

First of all get an application from the SDM office or download it online. Fill up all the details therein and attach the following documents along with it:- 1. School leaving certificate or birth certificate. 2. Identity proof 3. Address proof 4. Caste of parents/ grand father/cousins/cousin uncle/cousin grandfather 5. Candidates have proof of living in a state At the end of the application form the applicant has to attach the photo of witness along with his name, address and signature. Finally submit the application form along with necessary documents at the Tehsil office.

Hi, You may get obc caste certificate if your ancester have it. You need to apply to revenue department for that. Concerned tahsildar has power to issue certificate. You will have to fill the form prescribed for cast certifivate along with t.c. of your nearest relatives who has obc certificate along with affidavit and family tree. Thanks.

You need to compile all the documents like your 10th Ms, birth certificate, passing certificate, ration card, copy of your uncle and cousins certificate and other docs as applicable attested copies and approach the respective Collector office for issuance.
