Procedure to get EWS certificate

Namaste, nI'm Divya, married since two years but didn't change my name and surname post marriage. I tried applying for the EWS quota under the income of my husband, but got rejected as the name in my Aadhar card do not contain my husband's name. Kindly help me to know the procedure to get EWS certificate without changing my surname.Thank you in advance

There is no law which requires change of name after Marriage. if you have submitted the Marriage Certificate along with application, that is enough. You can challenge the said decision, if the same rejection is in writing, before the Hon'ble High Court.
