Police filed an FIR while heading to buy groceries
25-Apr-2023 (In Civil Law)
I don't have my phone at the moment as its display got cracked completely and i live alone, hence i am unable to check my bank balance and make any UPI payment. Also, there is no ATM nearby. I was heading to spencers to buy groceries which is very close to my society. I saw my neighbour going ahead. the police stopped him and then me. they filed an FIR saying we are bachelors and got no responsibilty and we find roaming on streets as an easy task so an FIR will be filed, the police took our aadhar card and said the FIR copy will be sent to our homes and we will receive challan details on whatsapp. I tried to explain the police why i was heading to spencers but they did not listen at all and shouted on us. I don't understand why the police did not stop any other passerby who were heading to spencers, many with four-wheeler as well but just us. we walked miles far. I need an advice as i have never been into police cases, so i have got no clue about the outcomings of the FIR lodged.
police is just trying to fool around or proposing something which is wrong.
write a letter to local police thana with copy to comissioner of police for harassement and fit against police personnel.
if required hire a lawyer for legal notice.
they shall return you aadhar card immediately then.
if challan is received, do not worry. hire a lawyer and let justice prevail
