Land patta, as 'Record of Rights', is a document comprising the name of the legal owner of the land property. It is issued by the government authority and can be used as an evidence in an event of a dispute Patta is a must, as it is the main document for establishing lawful possession. Even in case of properties with buildings and structures, Patta is the primary document to establish lawful possession Should I know about claim of X?
