Passport related query regarding a cybercell complaint

I want to apply for a passport, but before an year ago a cyber official contacted my institution .I only knew this when one of the teaching official tell me this.Moving forward today I didn't receive any call directly from cyber cell not any notice.I was wondering after more than a year and a half whether the case is still there since they didn't even contacted me directly through any means. Case is related to a text message. I want to know the status.

You should collect the case details from the contacted cyber police station. You can file an RTI with the cyber police station to check if there is any case pending against you. If there is any case pending you need to check the status of the case on court proceedings.
