Parents' names differ across SSLC, Aadhaar/PAN, and my documents. Nee

20-Jun-2026 (In Civil Law)
My parents' names appear differently in various documents. Their SSLC certificates show one name, their Aadhaar/PAN and other documents show another name, and my documents show a third variation. As a graduate, correcting all my documents would be very difficult. Is there any legal way (affidavit, gazette notification etc) to establish that all these names belong to the same persons? Can such a document be used when authorities ask for my parents' SSLC for gov certificates like nativity lifelong

One and the Same Person Affidavit: You can get a joint affidavit executed by your parents (or separate affidavits for each parent) on non-judicial stamp paper, duly attested by a Notary Public or a First Class Magistrate. The affidavit must clearly state that all the different names mentioned in the specific documents (list the SSLC name, Aadhaar/PAN name, and the variation in your graduate certificates) belong to one and the same individual.
