17-Dec-2025 (In Civil Law)
My parents income ( apart from salary/agri) combined for Y1 (last year) is 13.49 L , Y2(before Y1) is 12L , Y3 before Y2 is 5.28 L. I am in OBC both in state as well as centre . The income criteria states I need to be above 8 L in three consecutive years to be counted as creamy layer. ( F.No.36011/1/2022-Estt.(Res-I) in clause 6 a ). so am I eligible for UPSC and ergo central caste certificate legally? This coming FY 2025 2026 I will again be falling income below 8 Lakhs. Pls help

As per DoPT rules, creamy layer applies only when parents income is above eight lakh for three continuous years. Here only two years are above the limit. So you are non creamy layer and eligible for UPSC and central OBC certificate after verification.
