OBC Caste not included in Karnataka state obc list

25-Jan-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am Sanjeev Jaiswal and by caste I belong to "Viyahut Kalwar" which is mentioned under Bihar OBC list as well as Central OBC List. In Bihar, it is mentioned under the category BC-2/20 Baniya - Kalwar (KALAL/Earaki), (Viyahut Kalwar). Now, I am settled in Karnataka and I want to take OBC benefit for my son's education in Karnataka as well. The issue is that, KALWAR is not mentioned in the OBC list of Karnataka State. But KALAL is mentioned in the state OBC list of Karnataka. On the basis of the matter mentioned above, does it mean that Kalal and Kalwar are same? Is it possible to produce a certificate that Kalwar and Kalal are same? If I get one, Will it pass all the legal test if challenged?

As stated by you in the central OBC (Kalal/Earaki) (Viyahut Kalwar)it is mentioned and under that you can take reservations. And secondly Kalal and Kamwar belongs to the same category then ofcourse you can take reservation for your child under it.
