Not allowing delivery boys at night

Has the society have any legit legal right, to restrict delivery boys at night and ask the residents to collect their items from the gate?
Well, the Society is doing this for the safety of its own Society Members. However, if the Society Members have any problem regards this rule, then, they can file a Suit against the Society, as there is no law as such specifically, by seeking support of which, Society has restricted delivery boys to visit at night in society.
