Neighbour is not getting the leakage under the floor fixed which has d

We live in a builder flat and the building has 4 floors now because of broken pipe in the house which is right above my house there hass been multiple wall damages at my house and whenever my father who is a senior citizen requests him to get it fixed, he abuses and shouts on us. We have already spent lakhs in getting our house painted multiple times

First of all rather than going legally you should serve him/her a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either stop all these harassments or compensate me for the losses or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he/she fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction.

It is hereby requested to you to contact the building owner in particular because the broken pipe will have been put up by them and not by the person who has taken it. You can tell the building owner that if they do not mend it then you might file a case against them for the the same

We can serve them with the legal notice for restraining them to not indulge into the activity of harassing you and violating your fundamental rights. Further, we would file a criminal complaint for the offences committed by them of abuse and harassment.
