Neighbour creating issue while renovation

22-Sep-2023 (In Civil Law)
Hi, I am pradeep. I am living in rented accommodation and recently bought a DDA flat in same society. The flat that I bought is on 1st floor and not in good condition, so I am planning to renovate it. There is an old lady living in Ground floor of the building and she is not in agreement to allow me to renovate it. Please suggest how should i proceed with it.

You can proceed for the renovation of the house. But prior to that you have to go through the Norms of the DDA society.
In addition you can provide prior intimation through lawyer to your old lady and in parallel to that you can file a NCR against a old lady.

as buyer of a property you have the right to renovate your premises.

however such renovation should not cause any harassment to the neighbours.

therefore it is suggested that you can renovate the flat by taking due care.
