Need to make passport with aadhar wrong dob
04-Feb-2026 (In Civil Law)
My aadhar dob is wrong and I need to make passport my aadhar dob is 01/01/1990 and my real dob is 22/10/1990. Please tell me how I make passport with this mismatch. I have all other documents. I visited on ashoknagar popsk on 12 January but the officer said to update aadhar first if I not update it he didn't accept it. I can't update my aadhar due to my personal reason. I must visit another psk. Do you suggest me a psk where it be accepted or give me a option.
Provide a Valid DOB Proof in the Passport Application
Instead of only uploading Aadhaar:
Provide Birth Certificate with your actual DOB (22/10/1990) if available.
Or provide your 10th/School certificate or PAN card showing “22/10/1990.”
In the passport form, select documents that contain the correct DOB as your DOB proof, not Aadhaar’s DOB.
Passport officials are legally permitted to issue a passport if two valid supporting proofs match your DOB.
If you cannot correct Aadhaar due to personal reasons, you can submit an affidavit explaining the discrepancy and confirming your correct DOB.
This is commonly done with:
Notarized affidavit - Magistrate First class
Annexure E (sworn statement)
Other supporting evidence (birth certificate/education certificate)
But this still works only when you have at least one valid document confirming your real DOB.
