A mere NC (non-cognizable) complaint, especially if false and not converted into an FIR or charge sheet, generally does not affect police verification for a government job. NCs are not considered serious unless they show a pattern of repeated complaints. However, it's advisable to obtain a clean character certificate from the local police station. If needed, you can also submit a written clarification during document verification that the NC was false and no case was ever registered against you.

A N.C. won't be affecting your police verification. As police verification only highlights Criminal offences that are taken cognizance of. N.C itself talks about offences that are non cognizable in nature. Hence, it won't affect your verification process for government banking job.

Usually an NC registered by the Police authorities does not have a bearing of the job Or the job verification process. More so, irrespective of a false NC having been filed against you doesn't matter as it is however recorded by the Police. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal advice as regards the same.
