My name is kartick sing but I want to change it into Karthik Singh so I made one affidavit for name change because I thought through gazette I can change my in every documents but now my brother is saying that I don't need to make gazette because it's costly and if I make my new name in voter id then I can change my name in adhar and then I can change in my SSLC certificate so iam confused whether I can change my SSLC certificate name by only adhar or I need gazette notification

First thing you have to file declaration suit for change of name in civil court in your jurisdiction and once you got the judgment, as per the order you have to change the name in all the documents. If you need any further advice please contact me.
