My laptop got damaged because of sitting in front sit of auto for 1 yr

.The auto drivers used to pressurise me to sit in front sit whenever a female used to board the auto.Now they are asking for rs 20K to fix the laptop.Can I sue the auto drivers for the damage?

Dear Client, Your query lacks information to respond properly. In query once you wrote that they are asking a sum to repair the damaged laptop and you want to use claiming damages from auto driver which appears to be contradictory. Accepting the arbitrary pressure from auto driver, you agreed to sit in the front seat of the auto and unless you could prove such arbitrary or unethical pressure by adducing strong evidence before the court, no viable outcome from litigation is visible as of now. If required, please consult with an officer of an MV Department or an Advocate for tailored advice to resolve the issue.
