Muncipality property tax - timebarred arrear

I am retired Revenue inspector from muncipality i file case about on my retirement benefits not given to me because of timebarred arrear i work as revenue inspector for only 2 years so i filed writ petition but issue my advocate always tell us case on not in list its been 2yrs since we file case but nothing happen now im 60 age i had no hope to i got my amount
Since you have already filed a Writ Petition regarding non-payment of your retirement benefits, the matter is pending before the Hon’ble High Court. If the case is “not in list” for a long time, it generally means it has not been posted for hearing.
You may take the following steps:
Ask your advocate to file a Memo for Early Listing or Urgent Listing Petition before the High Court requesting the Court to post the matter for hearing, especially considering your age (60 years) and retirement benefits issue.
You can also request your advocate to mention the matter before the concerned Court for early hearing.
If counter affidavit has not been filed by the respondents, your advocate can seek direction for filing counter within a fixed time.
If you feel your case is not being properly pursued, you are legally entitled to change your advocate and obtain the case bundle.
Retirement benefits are a legal right and cannot be denied arbitrarily. Courts generally take such matters seriously, particularly when it concerns pensionary benefits of a retired employee.
