Mothers Name correction in Cbse X th certificate after 9 years ( 2015)

My mother uses her maiden name but her surname was improperly recorded as my surname in my cbse xth marksheet. Is there a way to correct this after 9 long years ? If yes, what kind of lawyer do i require and how long would it take.
Dear sir, there are two ways to do ;it depending upon the requirement.
It would be suffice if your name correction published in gazette. And if any authorities are not satisfied with gazetted change then suit for declaration is need to be file for the correction in the name.
