Model Byelaws of co op Housing Society in Mumbai

There is no specific provision in byelaws of co op society to take approval of General Body for invitation of offers for appointment of StructAuditor. Will it be still necessary to take approval of General Body ?

There is no section or byelaw restraining society to invite tender. However, procedure must be followed. Committee must put the need for structure auditor agenda before the general body. Once that is passed, committee can invite tenders. We legally advise society to follow procedures to avoid future legal trouble.
