Misuse of trust fund by self-proclaimed manager of a charitable trust

27-Aug-2025 (In Civil Law)
Sir, I am a long-time resident of a trust property in Jabalpur. Despite repeatedly expressing my willingness in writing to pay rent, the so-called trustee has failed to provide any valid document or official bank account details. Instead, there are ongoing attempts to pressure us to vacate the premises. I am now looking for legal support to: ✅ 1. File a Permanent Injunction Suit, and ✅ 2. Submit a Rent Deposit Application in court, so that our peaceful possession is protected through proper

You may immediately file a civil suit for permanent injunction before the competent civil court to restrain the so-called trustee or any other person from disturbing your peaceful possession, as you are a long-time lawful resident willing to pay rent. Simultaneously, you can also move an application under Section 31 of the M.P. Accommodation Control Act, 1961 for deposit of rent in court, since the trustee has failed to provide valid documents or bank details. By doing this, you will safeguard your tenancy rights, demonstrate bona fide conduct, and ensure protection from arbitrary eviction attempts.
