Members not paying maintenance fee

Green Valley Layout in Guddahatti village, south bangalore was formed and ownership transferred to association. Landlords have got few plots from the developer. They are not paying maintenance fee from 3 years. One of the association member reminded landlord for dues. He was badly beaten today morning by his local gang. Now we want to go legally to recover dues with interest and court fee if unpaid. Guide us on next steps.

If the association is a registered body then you can file a suit for recovery of the sums of money owed to the association as maintenance. The landlords cannot escape the payment of maintenance, however, it is best to advice further having gone through the bye- laws of the association
