Marraige certificate issues and guidance

I was living in Udaipur and my wife was living in Jaipur. I got married in Jaipur. I did my marriage registration at village Bori near Udaipur due to covid restrictions as it was easy to get certificate. In marriage certificate the place of marriage is Bori but it should be Jaipur. This has created an issue in my wife's visa for Germany. My queries are: 1. Should I update my marriage certificate with the correct place of marriage now? 2. Should I re-register the marriage ?

What sort of queries are brought before you that since you got married in a village, your Visa application may be rejected? On what basis Sir? So far as the laws for the time being in force are concerned you can neither update the place since the certifying authority would differ nor one can re-register marriage. In my opinion, there are no such provisions to support your case, but let me assure you there are other different efficacious remedies available to you!
