Hello Could anyone clearly mention what is the minimum requirement for getting Domicile certificate for a child in Maharashtra ? Only at one place I see that ( on clear tax) that if parents have stayed in Maharashtra for more then 6 years, child can get Domicile certificate. Is it true ? Surprisingly don't find anywhere requirement of domicile for Maharashtra in any govt document website.
Extremely urgent clarification for admission to MH CET engg admission. Appreciate help in
Yes, it is true that in Maharashtra, a child can obtain a domicile certificate if their parents have been permanent residents of the state for more than six years. This criterion is recognized in several sources, including ClearTax and NoBroker. However, it's important to note that this specific condition is not explicitly detailed on the official government portal, Aaple Sarkar.
