Looking for suggestions on what to do regarding a bike that got lost’

Years ago I had a bike in Bangalore that I was using while studying college and once I was done with college I gave the bike to a friend and he lost it and we both left India and live abroad and this happened years ago.
I would like to know what can I do about it? Will I able to file a complaint while being abroad on behalf of someone?

okay I understand your questions first you lodge a complaint for missing bike you lodge the complaint otherwise you have struking many problems if some people using bad work you are only responsible and if any accsedent hapen that is also you are the responsible so lodge complaint in bangluru which place it is lost you can give the authority to lidge complaint any one in bangluru
