Land acquisition compensation to the land owners

Our land was acquired for highway a notice was sent in 1960 sir for road construction the land was not acquired project was cancelled later a municipal road was proposed in 1979 and cancelled and later finally they took the land with out informing the land owners in 2001 for highway the land was vacant from 1960-2001 no compensation was paid no contact was maid no mention in land acquisition record or award record we have verified in nhai sub collector municipal offices r and b mro collector office we have submitted all the documents the sub collector office not completing the process saying it’s over 58 the land owners the land was vacant till 2001 rare issue with full of mistakes from government side how to get the record or compensation what is the process we have filed rti our survey numbers were not mentioned in the award copies
