Issue in property registration

A Land property was register in my father's name at sub register office by one brother out of 3 brother in 1996. But the property is in his Father's name of these 3 brothers.
We paid land tax for over 20 years but the property is in the name of those 3 brother's father. The person who sold that land, his son and his father are not alive. Now how to register that property in my father's name?
