Is it mandatory to change my name in educational certificates if it differs from my AADHAAR?

25-Jul-2024 (In Civil Law)
Once I change my name in the government gazette in my state, is it mandatory to update my name in all my educational certificates, or is it sufficient to submit a name change affidavit wherever needed? If I don't update my name in my educational certificates, could it cause any issues when traveling abroad or applying for a visa?

Yes, you have to change your name in all respective certificates based on the gazette copy issued from Govt. if, not then you can't able to apply or pursue any course in regard to foreign terms. so kindly based on your gutzeit copy approach your educational institution to change your name accordingly.

There's no need to change your name in each and every certificate. But you need to attach attested copy of the name change certificate whenever it is required. Also carry the original for verification purposes.
