Is it compulsory to pay full stamp duty for agreement to sale

i want to purchase land and want to do agreement to sale document ( not sale deed ) so is it compulsory to pay full stamp duty , can i pay nominal charges for agreement to sale and on sale deed i can pay full stamp duty ? please reply

Yes, you can pay nominal charges for agreement to sale. and pay full stamp duty at the time of sale deed. But I would suggest you to pay the full stamp duty at the time of agreement to sale and keep your transaction safe.

Document of ownership cannot be saled but can be kept as security for Cause of purpose. Stamp duty is compulsory for enforcement of sale Deed enforcement which is paid to state For enforcement of sale deed.a kind of Validity of transaction of sale. To make an authorised transaction of sale of land.as per respective laws and also stamp duty Act of state. Which is requisite and prescribed by state. For requisite purpose of transaction of relevant property in a state.
