Imposed fine for exceeding student parking zone

Can college charge fines on no parking for students? As i have violated student car parking limit like 10-20metre and college authorities have imposed penalty for that like 500rs without any further announcement or rule of parking fine earlier Should i pay the fine??

If the college authority illegally imposes a parking fine, you don't need to pay it. You can file a complaint with the relevant government authority, such as the panchayat or corporation. They will take the matter and take appropriate action against the college.
