I'm an ASI in PUNJAB POLICE. I have got an opportunity to play a cop-role/army officer in a movie. But, I don't know under what act should I apply for permission to my department. Please help me with it.

Hello , You should seek permission from your senior officer for doing this and you can only do so only on a freelance basis , without affecting your service conditions and during your office leave. if the department denies without any lawful reason, you may approach the honourable High court of issuing directions to the department.
