I was rejected at the time of interview by Coal india Limited post MT

I've applied for the post Of MT in industrial engineering discipline through MT advt 02/2017 of coal india limited. CIL asked to upload Scanned degree certificate at the time of application filing, in which my degree name is clearly mentioned. I was shortlisted for interview, and CIL rejected me during document verification at the time of interview quoting". Your degree is not eligible". My batchmates with the same degree has been recruited by CIL via campus recruitment in 2015 for the same post of MT industrial engineer. IS not it mount to clear violation of article 16? How can they reject me quoting that, " that was 2015 and campus recruitment , it's 2017 and open recruitment through advt 02/2012" .What legal remedies do i have at my disposal? Should i approach supreme Court directly for violation of article 16 or should i approach the Kolkata highcourt as CIL comes under jurisdiction of Kolkata highcourt?
